I am a User Researcher who is passionate about uncovering insights into users and creating engaging experiences. In my most recent role at Bubble, I was the first researcher at a leading no-code web app platform. I did foundational research that shaped long-term product strategy, while doing tactical research on strategically important initiatives in AI, pricing, and growth. After less than a year I was asked to build out a research team.
At Coinbase I drove end to end research to guide product strategy and design features in security, identity, payments, trust and risk. In past roles I have done strategic research to set the product roadmap for an Anti Money Laundering compliance platform at ComplyAdvantage, and developed solutions for international B2B eCommerce at Alibaba.com. I am comfortable doing research and designing in any medium, digital screens, wearables, audio experience, customer experience and beyond.
I have over 10 years of research experience, from user research for wearable tech, website, app, and product development to long term multisited ethnography. I have researched people and businesses in the US, China and Taiwan.
An endless curiosity about how people understand their lives, and a dedication to using qualitative research to solve problems ties together everything I do. I design solutions which align user needs with business goals and the competitive landscape.
Outside of work, I practice Chinese Internal Martial Arts.
